I have never been across the pond so I can't really speak with any first hand knowledge. It all depends upon where you get your basic news info from I suspect. Here we have the alphabet MSM, ABC, CBS, NBC and of course the worst or the bunch CNN. I suppose the BBC over there is either owned or in some way related to our liberal bastions that feed us shit as a daily diet. I can tell, almost instantly, when speaking with people I meet here where they get their news from. In almost all waiting areas where a TV is displayed it is almost always on the CNN channel and I can't stand even listening let alone watching those asswipes. Every so often I do see clips from news stations on the other side or from Australia and all are BS liberal junk peddlers. At a point a few years ago the FOX news network was half decent but no longer. These days I always turn to either Newsmax or OANN to get a more accurate read on the news. Online I always go to the Epoch Times for news.

GEEZE! I had a very busy weekend and now there is way too much to even respond to here. My trigger sure did get tripped with this Climate Change/Global Warming and Fossil Fuel crap shoot.
Here is my opinion on that stupid subject. Lets just toss trillions of dollars from the wealthy countries, enough to bankrupt some of them, and we might be able to slow the work of Mother Nature if we can get enough to pay her ass off. YUP! Coal, Oil and Natural Gas is absolutely the enemy and then we have to add in Solar and Wind along with Hydroelectric power generation and don't even think about Nuclear power. Plastic and Steel are also pretty energy consumption venues. Let's all just go back to living in fucking caves and cabins and hoping that it won't be a long cold winter or a very hot summer so we can all live like it is the 14th century.
We all want our heated and air conditioned homes with more square footage than any of us really need and we want them filled with all the latest and greatest technology but none of us actually consider where what we have comes from or what energy it is made with. We sure can mine the minerals and drag it out with big horses and maybe even Oxen. We could of course smelt those materials by cutting down the trees and forests, Oh Wait, that won't work if the tree huggers and environmental activists get involved. Dump your Ford and Mercedes vehicles with leather seats and rubber tires surrounded by metals, plastics and lots of other earthly materials we won't be able to bring to market and just use the fucking horse and buggy to go to the Not so Super Market.
I suggest you draw a small circle around where you are sitting or standing right this very minute. Now look around you for 360 degrees and identify everything you see that was not made with the aid of a Fossil Fuel. Bet you can't find a single fucking thing that did not in some way require some sort of energy other than man or animal power. Now I suggest you sit at the base of a tree and look up at the moon and start barking if you honestly believe we can be okay without all that we have and want. I am approaching 70 years old and there is no way I could ever even consider living "Off the Grid" at this age yet this is exactly what the Climate Change Activists are shoving up our asses as long as they can keep their fancy shit.

Our MSM is refusing to report almost all adverse reactions to the jabs and instead highly reporting the false "Fact" that the majority of covid patients who are seriously ill and in hospitals are Unvaccinated people. Oddly, in other countries the reports are the exact opposite and most very sick people in their hospitals are those who have been fully vaccinated. Many honest American doctors who a ringing the warning bells and saying with living proof that vaccinated individuals are more dangerous than the unvaccinated in spreading the virus are being shunned and silenced and even threatened with the loss of their credentials.

I have heard this said over and over again in most contested divorce cases. "There is her story and there is his story and somewhere in the middle is the true story"!

Right this minute my young couple neighbors told me a scary story. Her mom and dad both had Covid and survived after being very sick. They both got the vaccines as son as the were eligible and now they are both back in the hospital and very sick again with the new Delta variant. She has refused the vaccine because she wants to have children but he has been vaccinated as a condition of his employment. They have very mixed emotions with him afraid of her and her afraid of him.

My 97 {then 96} year old mom was in Ass~isted living at $6000 per month, the fucking RINO Gov locked down all the nursing homes and assisted living joints {Cuhomo Lite}...so we got to see her 1 time in 9 months, sure enough she got the Bullshit Virus. Called her and ask her how she was doing..."I feel like shit, but Hell, I'm 96 and usually feel like shit ... nothing new".

Well the Old Gal survived...I finally convinced my younger sister down in South Florida to take her in so we could get her the Hell out of the $6000 a month Death Trap...told her we would give her $2500 a month and expenses...she, being a COVID fearing Biden fool, finally agreed...Hell she doesn't need the money, they live on the Gulf, her hubby, Denmark Mike, is a world class chef, but they agreed, and Mom is doing well as any 97 year old can expect, living on the Gulf of Mexico...at half the cost of the Ass~isted Living Death House...

Two of my fellow co-workers got the shots. Both ended up in the hospital with lung issues. Two friends got the shots. One died from kidney failure the other now has strange bumps on his body. His doc thinks it may be cancer. Now by the same token several friends have taken the jab with no seeming problems.......At least not yet. However when our friends in the medical field all refuse to get them and the fact I all most died from a new style flu shot then I guess I'll take my chances.
